i ventured outside
around the neighborhood

hoping to catch the sun's last touch of the day
on a brick wall or delicate flower
inside the curious workings of the alley
but the weather had other plans
the clouds collided
and the masterpiece was formed above

The sky really was so beautiful! I love the sound of rain : )
ReplyDeleteHow well i remember rain in the desert! (i grew up in a tiny little town in southern Nevada) i used to cut class in high school, on the rare day when it rained, so i could drive around smelling it, watching it, feeling it.
