How does your garden grow?

Remember those little seedlings I shared with you a while back. Well, they have grown quite a bit. No peas yet, but I have had quite a few heads of lettuce, some bok choy, and lots of cilantro. Not bad for such a small space.

The funny thing is there are a bunch of things popping up that I didn't plant. There must have been seeds in the compost. I've got renegade tomatoes, squash, and I think this is an okra? Does anyone know for sure?
Have a great weekend!

  4. It's always fun to see strange things popping up through the soil, but in my case, the stray seeds usually end up being weeds!

  5. Hm...it doesn't look quite right for okra, but I grow red velvet okra, so maybe it's just a different variety. Is it tall and leggy? I guess if you have blooms, you'll know soon enough! :)

  6. Hi everyone :) Thanks for trying to help...the mystery remains, but I have a feeling we will all find out soon. Several of the flowers have been pollinated and are starting to set fruit. We shall see!

I know, it's pretty cool to have renegade veggies instead of weeds. This is a first for me...although there were a few weeds that popped up too.
